1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo - Race Car
1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo – Dale Earnhardt GM Goodwrench Tribute Race Car
Auction Description:
This 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo is a true piece of NASCAR heritage with a modern tribute twist. Originally built by Laughlin Racing Products for Ricky Craven and the Busch Grand National Series, this purpose-built stock car carries the DNA of professional motorsports engineering and has since been transformed into a stunning Dale Earnhardt GM Goodwrench tribute race car.
Under the hood, this Monte Carlo is powered by a built 355 cubic inch Chevrolet small-block, topped with GM Bowtie heads, an Edelbrock Victor single-plane intake, and a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, all breathing through an 8-quart racing oil pan and tuned to run on 112-octane race fuel. Power is delivered via a 4-speed manual transmission to a Ford 9” racing-spec rear end, making this car not only show-worthy but fully capable on track.
The chassis features Grand National 5-on-5 wheel hubs, 6-piston Brembo brakes, and competition-grade suspension built for durability and performance in high-speed racing conditions. With only approximately 1,000 miles on the drivetrain since its tribute rebuild, the car has seen action in exhibition races throughout Maine and even lapped New Hampshire Motor Speedway during their vintage racing celebration.
Finished in iconic black Goodwrench livery, complete with a red race-spec interior, this Monte Carlo is a visually striking homage to "The Intimidator" himself. Whether you're a hardcore NASCAR enthusiast, a vintage race participant, or a collector of motorsports history, this track-capable tribute offers an opportunity to own a unique blend of racing pedigree and fan-favorite legacy.
