This vehicle is in great condition for being 75 years old. The vehicle has been stored within a garage and has also been in the same family for the past 50+ years. The Lincoln Cosmopolitan was part of the first postwar product lines of the combined Lincoln-Mercury Division. There has been no significant restoration work done The body and frame is in perfect condition. The 337cu 5.5 V8 engine runs and sounds clean. The 4 door sedan comes with the sought after suicide doors. The car has a 3 speed standard transmission with gear shifting on the steering column. This is a perfect restoration project car with significant upside value potential.
The hydraulic-electo windows have been converted to straight 12V electrical motor driven windows, however all the parts have been saved to allow for conversion back if desired.
The original owner followed by secondary owner then handed down to son.
