The Lincoln Cosmopolitan was part of the first postwar product lines of the combined Lincoln-Mercury Division. There has been no significant restoration work done The body and frame is in perfect condition. The 337cu 5.5 V8 engine runs and sounds clean. The 4 door sedan comes with the sought after suicide doors. The car has a 3 speed standard transmission with gear shifting on the steering column. This is a perfect restoration project car with significant upside value potential.
The hydraulic-electo windows have been converted to straight 12V electrical motor driven windows, however all the parts have been saved to allow for conversion back if desired.
